Routes to Approval

There are two equivalent routes to achieving ACS status, both ensuring that all approved contractors meet consistent standards.

Standard Route

Open to all companies without the need for prior accreditation, the Standard route to ACS approval starts with a self-assessment. This assessment is then validated by an independent assessor from an SIA-approved body.

Passport Route

We recognize certain alternative quality assurance schemes as equivalent to the ACS Standard. If your business is accredited under one of these schemes.
